Bobby Rozario
Guitarist, composer, and producer Bobby Rozario brings his acclaimed album Healer (Origin Records) to life at Drom on April 9th, joined by an all-star ensemble of multi-Grammy-winning musicians including Robby Ameen, Keith Fluitt, Danny Kean, Ruben Rodriguez, and Ricardo Sabogal!
Bobby Rozario's latest album Healer released on a leading jazz label Origin Record features an all-start lineup including Multi Grammy-winning lineup of musicians like Robby Ameen, Ruben Rodriguez, James Genus, Edsel Gomez, Luisito Quintero to name a few. Powered by Rozario’s fiery guitar voice, the music surges with Jazz-Rock energy, Latin grooves, Hammond organ textures, and powerful vocals. An international roster of musicians and singers each contributing a different accent resulting in joyous sonically radiant work.
In an era when such luminous productions have become rare, except perhaps on the live stage, Bobby Rozario’s music feels like a rediscovery. For older listeners, it will stir a gentle nostalgia for a time when fusion was fresh, daring, and spiritually charged. For younger ears, it may feel like a revelation, proof that this kind of vibrant, groove-driven, deeply human music still has a place today.
The nuances, the interplay between percussion and horn lines, the subtle shifts in harmony, the layers of rhythm that dissolve like colors in motion.
This music is meant to be lived in, not merely heard.
''It is music that invites both the body and the spirit to dance.''
