The James Brown Show starring Carlton Jumel Smith
Join us as we welcome Carlton J. Smith to DROM on Friday, May 31st. Come groove at this modern-day R & B variety show. A good time is guaranteed!
Carlton Jumel Smith has been a devoted disciple of James Brown's music for as long as he can remember. He was the first man to portray James Brown on the silver screen in Barry Levinson's, "Liberty Heights".
Carlton has met him countless times and was asked to perform in Mr. Brown's place at BB King’s Club on New Year’s Eve 2006 after Mr. Brown had passed away that Christmas.
Carlton has since performed all over the world and is still touring the globe bringing funk and soul to all who need it. Good God!
