Chontadelia arrives on the scene with a soundscape full of color, distortions, twists, and funk. Welcome to a party of currulao and bunde, of marimba, and electro beats.
Chontadelia is a 7-piece band rooted in the iconic marimba de chonta and steeped in the Pacific coast’s Afro-Colombian culture, identity, and history.
Chontadelia has been making its mark since 2015, called out for its socially engaged celebrations which voice their communities’ histories, stories, struggles and concerns. “The capacity to enjoy, to have a good time, is not separate from what is happening to you, your country, your community. Stand up, talk about the issues, dance.”
How do I make a reservation?
Unless specified otherwise, tables are first come first serve
Do you have an age limit?
Unless specified otherwise all shows are 21+
Do you have a minimum to be seated at tables?
There is a $20 per person to be seated at tables.
Are DROM tickets refundable after purchase?
No, DROM tickets are non-refundable and there are no exceptions. All sales are final. We won’t return or exchange the tickets. If an event is canceled, We will refund the purchase price or will issue a credit for use on a future purchase. Postponed or rescheduled events will not be compensated. All tickets are at will call. Please come to the door with the confirmation email that you received.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes, we do have an elevator for the main entrance. Please note there are 2 steps leading up to the elevated VIP area if you will be seated there.
