Elis Lovrić
Elis Lovrić is a Croatian contemporary folk singer-songwriter and actress. In early 2017 she released her third studio album, Merika.Most of her songs are written in Labinjonska čakavica, a subdialect of the Chakavian dialect, i.e. Northern Chakavian dialect spoken in eastern Istria around the town of Labin.

For the first time in New York City, Croatian singer-songwriter, composer and actress Elis Lovrić brings a concert to DROM. On this night, music, theatre and storytelling become one.
With her evocative and captivating voice, acoustic guitar and powerful stage presence, Elis moves effortlessly between intimacy and drama, silence and loud celebration. Singing in multiple languages and dialects, she transforms the sounds of her native Istria, Croatia into music that can be felt in every corner of the world.
At the heart of her work is Labinjonski, the endangered microlanguage of Labin, a small Istrian town, recognized as protected intangible cultural heritage. Elis carries this ancient language into a contemporary world of unique music, Mediterranean emotion and theatrical storytelling, inviting audiences not only to listen, but to become part of the performance.
Opening the evening is Earthman featuring Sound Medicalist, led by Richard Laurent, widely known as Kraze, the house music legend behind The Party. Now performing as Earthman Experience, this special performance brings together voice, chanting, Indian sitar and congas in a hypnotic meeting of rhythm, sound and cultures.
What will make this evening even more special is that the audience will be able to follow English translations of the lyrics in real time. They will appear both on screen and on their phones, through InConcert Lyrics, which brings everyone closer to the songs. The language barrier is no more.

Is there a minimum to be seated at tables?
There is a $20 per person minimum to be seated at tables.
Are tickets refundable?
No. DROM tickets are non-refundable and all sales are final. If an event is cancelled, we refund the purchase price or issue a credit for a future purchase. Postponed or rescheduled events are not compensated.
How do I pick up my tickets?
All tickets are at will call. Come to the door with your confirmation email.

Yes, there is an elevator at the main entrance. There are 2 steps up to the elevated VIP area if you are seated there.
