American jazz vocalist and songwriter Lizzie Thomas, whose voice has been described as “a siren’s call—soft yet commanding, fragile but fearless.” Known for her soulful sensibility and rhythmic power, Lizzie brings her holiday release This Christmas to life on stage—a fresh, jazz-infused, neo-soul take on timeless classics. With her captivating presence and heartfelt delivery, Lizzie transforms holiday favorites into something at once familiar and new.
Charu Suri, one of the few female composers from India to perform her work at Carnegie Hall, treads fearlessly between genres—pulling from mood-anchoring Indian ragas, to New Orleans ragtime. Her music is global, dynamic, and utterly transportive. Praised by Rolling Stone and other critics for being an original and blending ragas seamlessly into the world of jazz, Charu has graced the stage of Carnegie Hall five times and played all over the world.
