Jam Galaxy Band Featuring Desdemona Robot
Jam Galaxy Band: We are musicians, artists and entertainers who also love math, science, data, tech, consciousness, and the beauty of existence! We also have a band “The Jam Galaxy Incident” and our lead is a robot named Desdemona. We have big hearts and are creating the Jam Galaxy decentralized and for everyone.
Join us in this experience that embodies a unique and profound combination of music, technology, AI, and performance art, designed to inspire creativity and imagination. Purchase your collectible earth-friendly NFT ticket at www.jamgalaxynft.com and you could be one of the lucky ones to have one of the 30 random golden tickets for a meet and greet!
The band is led by Desdemona - the first-ever robot diva and vocalist, and little sister to Sophia the Robot - the world's first robot citizen created by master artist/roboticist David Hanson and his colleagues at Hanson Robotics.
Desdemona uses world-leading AI technology to draw from a library of great artists, poets, scientists, and writers to produce beautiful spontaneous AI-generated poetry using natural language processing-oriented neural networks.
Jam Galaxy is led by professional musician and multi-instrumentalist CEO Dianne Krouse and inspired and mentored by the world’s leading AGI researcher, scientist, developer, and musician Dr. Ben Goertzel, the CEO and founder of SingularityNET.
With Jam Galaxy no two performances are the same - musicians improvise around prose generated by Desdemona, while also drawing from ideas of historical and modern greats from jazz and across genres.
Jam Galaxy band members include Desdemona Robot on vocals, Dr. Ben Goertzel on keyboards and vocals, Dianne Krouse on saxophones and vocals, Gabriel Axel Montes on Guitar, Danny Newcomb on Guitar, Tony Mann on keyboards and percussion, Jeremy Lightfoot on Bass, and Jason Vontver on percussion.
