About the show

LAMC will once again feature a wide variety of artists and music executives from around the world who are making waves and helping to continue the growth of Latin music at a global level. As important as it is to talk about the music business and work on next step changes, it is equally as important to share music with our attendees, press, and key players in the industry.

Artists who have taken part in past Sounds from Spain showcases at the LAMC have included C. Tangana, Israel Fernández, Love of Lesbian, Arde Bogotá, Omar Montes, Lia Kali, Paula Cendejas, Moncho Chavea, among so many others. Las Ninyas del Corro

The Hip Hop and Trap duo Las Ninyas del Corro is from Barcelona, Spain. They use hard-hitting beats, earworm melodies, and gritty lyrics in their music to express their distinct perspective and style. The urban culture of the duo's city has an impact on their style, which they incorporate into their music to produce a unique sound that sets them apart from other artists in the genre.

The high-energy and contagious aspect of Las Ninyas del Corro's song is apparent in their performance and delivery. The complexity of the words is evident in the duo's music, which is particularly renowned for its expressive qualities. They have developed a devoted fan base because their music is an authentic representation of the hardships and reality of urban life.

Overall, Las Ninyas del Corro is a growing power in the Spanish and international Hip Hop and Trap music scenes. They are now recognized as some of the most promising musicians in the genre thanks to their distinctive sound, unfiltered lyrics, and moving performance.

After appearing in recent years at some of the best festivals in Latin America (Cosquin Rock, Colombia al Parque, Feria de las Flores, Lollapalooza, Vive Latino, Pirineos Sur, La Mar de Musicas, Portamerica...) and filling emblematic venues such as the Gran Rex theater in Buenos Aires, the Caupolican in Chile or the Teatro Colón in Bogotá, or the Sala Apolo in Barcelona, Pascual Cantero is immersed in the recording of what will be Muerdo's sixth album, which will be presented in 2024 on a world tour.

With over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, his work features powerful and profound lyrics, expertly blended with Latin and roots rhythms, as well as contemporary urban sounds.

In 2023, in addition to touring more than half a dozen countries in the Americas, he made his first foray into countries such as France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, making it clear once again that his music knows no borders, and that it is impossible to separate the musician from the traveler, the Murcian by birth from the citizen of the world.
