Michael Bird, red mesa, Chris Walker and B. Good
Laugh, groove, and unite on June 1st! Experience stand-up comedy from Chris Walker, indie-pop fusion by redmesa, boundary-breaking hip hop from B. Good, and interactive musical improv with Michael Bird. Don't miss this unforgettable lineup!
Opener: Chris Walker: 6:30-7
Chris Walker is a stand-up comic based out of Jersey City, NJ. He has placed in the Philly’s Phunniest competition and performed all over the Tri-State area to raucous crowds. His jokes consist of dating experiences, his tough, white, middle class upbringing, and coping with his fully receded hairline.
2nd Act: redmesa: 7:15-7:45
Austin Fredrich, known as redmesa, aims to combine his love for technical instrumental music with contemporary indie and pop. Grammy Award winning bassist and producer Jorge Casas once said of redmesa, “I think there needs to be another vocalist. It would be nice to hear a different singer.” It’s 2024, and now redmesa has played a live show and released an EP. What could possibly be next?

Breaking the boundaries of traditional music, B. Good creates a unique sound fusing hip hop, live drums, and live guitar to create a one of a king show. Born in Brooklyn, B. Good was halfway to a PhD in psychology when he woke up one morning and decided to drop out to pursue a life of music. B. Good has electrified crowds throughout the United States with his cocktail of rap mashing quick witted rhymes with sly guitar licks to create a musical cacophony that leaves the listener feeling inspired and wanting more. Every show is a party.
