TAKE ME OUT [2000s DISCO PUNK NITE]
Take Me Out goes to Manhattan's East Village for a night of some of the sleaziest indie-dance rock & disco punk from a magical era.
🎸 Take Me Out is taking over Manhattan’s East Village for a night dedicated to the sleaziest, sweatiest indie-dance rock and disco punk from the magical mid-2000s. Featuring the legendary DJ Nick Marc (Tiswas) on the decks, we’re throwing it back to the era when rock got sexy, dance music got dirty, and every night out felt like a scene from a music video.
Get ready for floor-shaking bangers and deep cuts from artists like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Strokes, Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, Bloc Party, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, The Rapture, Cut Copy, Hot Chip, Passion Pit, CSS and many more. It’s all the music that made you want to drink cheap beer, dance all night, and fall in love with a stranger under flashing lights.
Whether you were there the first time or you're just now discovering the sounds of the indie sleaze era, this is your chance to relive the chaos, charm, and sheer energy of the 2000s underground. Don’t miss it — this one’s going late.
