Bárbara Martínez grew up performing in New York City. Originally from Venezuela, she is the grand-niece of famed Argentine tango singer Libertad Lamarque. For more than 20 years she has worked as a dancer and singer with numerous flamenco dance companies and world music ensembles, and danced with the Metropolitan Opera, where she also sang as a child. In 2010, Bárbara performed at Carnegie Hall/Weill in a solo concert to a sold out house.
Bárbara Martínez appears in the documentary “Sobre Las Olas – A Story of Flamenco in the U.S.” by Carolina Loyola-Garcia and the photography exhibit entitled “100 Years of Flamenco in New York” at the NY Performing Arts Library. She is a Brown graduate and is currently pursuing a Masters at Berklee College of Music. Bárbara teaches music at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School.
ALBA's music is uplifting and vibrant. Some describe it as healing. It’s Flamenco, it’s Blues, it’s Jazz, it’s Funk. It swings and makes you want to listen all day and clap and move and shout OLE!

How do I make a reservation?
Unless specified otherwise, tables are first come first serve
Do you have an age limit?
Unless specified otherwise all shows are 21+
Do you have a minimum to be seated at tables?
There is a $20 per person to be seated at tables.
Are DROM tickets refundable after purchase?
No, DROM tickets are non-refundable and there are no exceptions. All sales are final. We won’t return or exchange the tickets. If an event is canceled, We will refund the purchase price or will issue a credit for use on a future purchase. Postponed or rescheduled events will not be compensated. All tickets are at will call. Please come to the door with the confirmation email that you received.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes, we do have an elevator for the main entrance. Please note there are 2 steps leading up to the elevated VIP area if you will be seated there.
